Club activities

The club participates in a number of competitions with other clubs and all members are encouraged to take part if asked to do so. The competitions are mainly with clubs in and around Bristol, and the target cards are shot within the club and are marked externally by adjudicators. Some competitions involve members visiting other clubs to shoot shoulder to shoulder.

There are also competitions between members within the club in the form of spoon cards and light weight sports competitions.

Members of North Bristol Rifle Club shoot in competitions organised by the Somerset Small Bore Shooting Association and The Bristol and District Small Bore Rifle Association.

Many of our members also have centre fire rifles and we shoot off site in co-operation with another club every six weeks or so.
